The Grand experience you seek is probably not searching for parking, waiting in line for a shuttle bus, and jostling for your turn to take a photo. But that’s likely what you’ll get, unless you know how to beat the crowds.
The good news is: There are surefire ways to beat the crowds. Even in 2021, it’s possible to find a slice of the Grand Canyon all to yourself. As long as you arrive with a plan, you can ditch the crowds and forge your own adventure, or simply sit in solitude somewhere along the rim.
